Read2Me was created by Trini Macias Ojeda, a California mom who was inspired by her small children who often demanded "read to me".  The main idea came during Trini's teacher credential program, she would stay home during the day with her children and attend college classes at night.  So much time was spent on being a housewife, college classes, and studying that all her children wanted from her was "read to me".  She discovered the Three R's of Reading: Read, Reflect, Retell which are necessary tools to help children become indepedent readers.  Well, this California mom decided to make reading fun, enjoyable, and everlasting.  This site is dedicated to the fun she had with her children with reading.   The hope is that you will enjoy the website and use it to its fullness.
